This review provides information on the possibilities of immunochemical methods usage (its ELISA and immunochromatographic variants) in quantitative concentration determination of the human epidermal growth factor an clinical, diagnostic, pathogenetic and prognostic marker of oncopathology associated with its overexpression. The general information on the structure of epidermal growth factor and its receptors and the mechanism of their interaction in the process of phosphorylation of proteins one of the important moments of carcinogenesis was elucidated.

Keywords
