Objective: To study the properties of the granulated form of the mixed-allergen from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Der.p.) and Dermatophagoides farinae (Der.f.). Methods: Immunodot was used for determination of allergens in the experimental preparation. Guinea pigs were immunized to study the immunogenic properties of the experimental allergen (┼└), this was followed by the study of animal blood serum by ELISA. Results: It has been proved, that the granulated form of the mixed-allergen from Der.p. and Der.f. has an allergen specific activity. The ┼└ causes a statistically significant increase of specific IgG antibodies to Der.p. and Der.f. among immunized Guinea pigs compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results indicate possible therapeutic efficacy of the ┼└ in sublingual immunotherapy.
